After a 17-hour drive, a week-long heat advisory, and enough iced coffee to power me through the Midwest, I finally landed in Central Illinois—and let me tell you, Alec and Skylar’s wedding at Camp Aramoni made every single mile worth it.

From the moment I arrived, I knew this day was going to be special. Skylar looked breathtaking in her Anthropologie wedding gown (designed by Watters, no less), and that custom ring? Total Pinterest-level perfection. She was radiant from head to toe—and her glam by CampBride was flawless. Alec, on the other hand, brought a calm, collected presence that grounded the entire day. The way he looked at Skylar? Cue the happy tears.

A Wedding Day Full of Personality (and Cake!)

Despite the lingering summer humidity (hello, Midwest), Alec and Skylar handled it all like absolute champs. Their day was full of intentional, joy-filled moments—the kind that make you stop and soak it all in. They popped champagne, rode in a buggy down to the river, and shared quiet, tender glances that felt like something out of a movie.
